I didn’t take a picture of my outfit in the morning but I wore the same thing all day and I really felt the need to write about my day in chronological order dammit!

Day 2 of my wedding adventure began with me putting on my new favorite shoes that I almost never want to wear because I don’t ever want them to get messed up!  I spent money that I didn’t have on these vivienne westwood man shoes at a sample sale and its totally fine because charging shit is the american way.  A sturdy patent leather, they are so comfortable and make my ankles look good!  I especially love the preforated westwood orb on the toes!

After getting my shoes on I had brunch at irregardless which was yum!  crab cake eggs benedict and a bloody mary!  I spoke with one of the owners for a long time about vivienne westwood and yohji yamamoto so obviously they have good taste and I hope everyone decides to eat brunch here.

Fast forward to the wedding.  It was short and sweet.  My sister sarah and her german boo thang sidney took the plunge yadayadayada on the the reception where the free margaritas were!!

Ho-ly shit.  Bottomless margaritas and queso dip and everyone dressed rather dapper!  If I die today I would hope this would be heaven with a chik fila next door.

I really loved the decor here!  From the Dia de los muertos bride skull to the titties painted on the girl for the women’s bathroom, all so good!  The only thing it needed to set it off was an outdoor area with a merengue band!  The carne asada tacos were fucking bomb.  I would mos def come here again on my next visit .

Had to share this tie also.  A lovely grateful dead gem worn by my “not totally dead head but almost” uncle dave.  He’s fucking awesome.

So this is me and my sister.  getting dressed fancy runs in the family and Sarah is no exception.  She’s wearing our mother’s wedding dress from the 70′s that I reworked into something more modern with her fancy fascinator that she bought from Marks and Spencer in England.  Ooh la la.

I was really feeling some stripe on stripe action today.  The westwood shirt I have on is a minty green with maroon stripes that I also got at the sample sale I maxed my card out at.  The maroon in the shirt compliments my new shoes perfectly!

The neckline is really strange and I love it – it buttons to the top of my torso and then has two lapels until it reaches the collar.  If I didn’t have a tank top underneath it would be full on man titty, and my chest is a lil’ too hairy for that.  It paired perfectly with my drop crotch pants with already attached braces!  And an outfit like that is one that’s super easy to dance in!

So I think I’m pretty much done with the majority of my craziness and hopefully I can get a bit more back on to my regularly scheduled life.

Sorry no updates for the past few days, but sometimes it’s more important to be out adventuring!  And my camera broke, so anything I take has to be with a camera phone which just isn’t as nice.  Anyway, I have a v-busy week so posts will be pretty sporadic.

I know I didn’t have money for it, and I know I didn’t need it, but it was one of those “if I left it there I would’ve never know what could’ve been”. And yes, I’m talking about my new Westwood tartan bag!

I’ve been needing a new “fancy” bag for a very long time so I feel like I made a good choice.  The tartan/ leather combo is beautiful in person, and the leather handles feel like buttaah in my hands.  It came with a detachable strap, which I obviously ripped off right away.  Wearing this bag with the cross shoulder strap would be doing an injustice to mankind!  And you carry yourself differently when you hold a bag by the handles, more “ultra chic” in my opinion!

That’s all for today!  I have pictures to edit, Dark Shadows dates to attend, samples to finish sewing and real life work that’s going to be keeping me so fucking swamped this week.  But I love it.

So I was checking out what everyone was wearing at the MET gala and was just totally unimpressed.  Even people I usually love were giving me a bunch of “eh..” and “…really?” and “not with that body, not with those shoes!”

Here’s the few that I thought were noteworthy.

Marc Jacobs!  The only man at the Gala worth talking about.  Every other guy there was so typical, so ultra boring in their black tie gear!

Whenever I see Marc Jacobs I just feel weird.  Ever since he became pretty and started working out I just feel like he’s a different person and I still don’t know how I feel about it.  Maybe if I met him in real life and we talked about it I’d feel better.  But for now I still think of him looking like a skinny, dorky jewish boy with glasses.  But I will give him major snaps for his courageous fashion efforts, even though I am not a fan of being shirtless under a mesh, or in his case lace, shirt.  I don’t care how sick your body is looking nowadays.

Lana Del Ray in Joseph Altuzarra.  I don’t know why but I think she was one of the best dressed there in what I originally thought / hoped might be a chain mail dress (now if that shit was chain mail….).  Maybe its the cape that’s setting shit off for me but I’m getting some sort of feeling from it and I think its a good one.  Also, I’m a huge fan of cholitas and I feel her dark lipstick is very “Sad Girl” a la “Mi Vida Loca”.

Mary Kate Olsen was looking lovely in The Row, minus the hair.  Usually I love her hair all messy and shit but I think it’s the platinum blonde on her that’s throwing me off.  But the olsen twins could show up to something in plastic bags held together with gum and duct tape and they’d still look ultra fashionable.  I really love the black satin on her, it catches the light perfect and is so supa sleek!

And my choice for best dressed…KIRSTEN DUNST in Rodarte. I just love her so much – she is so pretty!  Ever since Marie Antoinette!  My favorite part of her outfit are the white contrast Lapels, they really take attention to her face and she looks so classic!  If I were her I would’ve thrown tons of enamel pins and badges on it, give it some flavor!  I also love the black belt on the waist to tie everything in, I do wish someone would’ve popped off those buttons though.  It would’ve looked so much cleaner, but I still love it!

So yeah.  Only 4 pictures.  What did you expect?  Everything else was so dumb and unimpressive!  And I know everyone’s been talking about Beyonce’s dress but it was totally whatever.  Not a fan!  I’m sure all 4 of my little gems I picked will be featured on the worst dressed list, but that’s because the people who make those lists usually suck.

And by jewels I mean jewelry.  Even if jewelry doesn’t have jewels on it, it sounds so much nicer to say “lemme grab some jewels” instead of “lemme grab some jewelry”.

I discovered both of these designers at the Brooklyn Artists and Fleas market.  Sadly, I aint got no money in the bank, so I can’t buy any of these yet, but I am on a mission to expand my world of jewels and it needs to happen soon.  Until then, I’ll just share what I likesss.

Fancy Sexy Me. My top choice is the “Fuck Off” imprint double ring. I’ve been wanting a double ring for years but could never find one that I liked. AND its man size!

s/nash.  I haven’t seen anything close to what they offer and I lovesss.  Top picks are the stillborn potbelly pig molar necklace and the bird double finger pheasant talon ring!  I’m pretty sure its actual real molars and talons that are silver plated, but I may be wrong so don’t quote me!  When I go to buy them I will find out for sure!

Anybody know of any other good independent jewels I need to check out?  Let me know!  I’m always in the market for local or up and coming designers!

Well that’s it for me tonight. I’m busy watching Dark Shadows. I am so excited for the movie this week!

Just yesterday I was saying how much I love Snoopy and BAM!!  I came across the new Stussy x Snoopy capsule collection!  2 things I like rolled into one equals a burrito of pleasure, they kind that is great but won’t give you windy bottom syndrome.

So this collection is for kids but I don’t care!  I can fit in a children’s XL if I have to!  Everytime I try to sow down on my tee shirt consumption something like this happens and I want to by new ones!

Another pleasure burrito of the day..fred perry x dr. martens! so good that it hurts!  The entire collection is completely classic.  You can never go wrong with fred perry or dr. marten so the fact that both of them are working together is great.  Quality and style in one spot!

One of the designers I love yet can never find, Keanan Duffty! They only place I’ve seen him lately is at Any Old Iron in NYC. I feel like more people should pay attention to him and love his designs as much as I do!

First of all, a metallic gold suit?!  I could stop right there but it gets even better when you pair it with a leopard shirt.  I’ve been wanting a leopard shirt for the longest, why do I not yet own one?

I love the model’s hair!  I wish my hair was straighter without having to flat iron it!
